Our Daily Needs

We are deeply grateful for the kindness and generosity of the surrounding community and benefactors who provide essential donations to sustain over 200 Lamas, child lamas, and visitors who rely on our monastery. Your donations of rice, sugar, milk, fruits and vegetables, cooking oil, and fuel make a significant difference in meeting our daily needs.

As we prepare for the winter, when heavy snow and freezing temperatures are a common occurrence, we are facing new challenges with our water supply and sewage infrastructure. This year, we are seeking urgent help to improve these critical facilities. Our isolated location means that we do not have access to public services, and the availability of drinkable water is at risk due to melting glaciers and insufficient snowfall during peak winter.

The harsh conditions of winter often lead to snow blockages and avalanches, which can leave our monastery cut off from the outer world. With your support, we can strengthen our infrastructure and ensure the safety and well-being of our community. We appreciate any assistance you can provide to help us overcome these challenges and continue our important work.

Here is a short video of our needs at the monastery. If you would like to help please contact us though our contacts page.
